Manipulation of request parameters in interface

Hi, I'm using bizagi 10.7, I'm having a requirement that I need to manipulate(find and replace some strings in the request parameter). I can write an expression to change that prior to interface but is there any way to do it while mapping it to request. Already concatenate and subString is available but can we implement by passing it through an utility function. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
